Ruben learned the value of hard work from his parents who worked tirelessly to raise their family. He started working at a young age, selling fruits and washing windows for tips. He later became a swimming teacher and eventually ran the Seacat Aquatics Swim School and Summer Camp. Ruben founded his own swim school, Southbay Aquatics, which evolved to become a premier medical training company called Southbay Learning Center. He expanded to medical products and signed a contract with ZOLL Medical and Cardiac Science to become RescueAED, a national safety solutions company. In February 2019, RescueAED was acquired by S&S Training, and Ruben became the Managing Director for Nursing Unlimited, a Florida Department of Education accredited school, where he also runs American Heart Association and American Red Cross Training Centers.
Ruben has over 20 years of experience as a Paramedic/Firefighter. He has served his community in both Fire and Rescue divisions and has been involved with training and safety development in multiple major tracks across the country. Ruben is the founder of RJR Motorsports Consultants and was awarded the prestigious NASCAR Track Services Mission Award for his work with NASCAR. As the Director of Safety & Track Services for RBGRC, he led the RJR Safety Teams nationally and abroad in races held throughout the United States and Internationally in Brazil, Spain, Germany, and Barbados.
Jackie has over 20 years of experience in leadership and management, having worked her way up from an entry-level position at Titan America to become the Customer Service and Logistics Manager. She co-owns and works for RescueAED, LLC, where she brought organization, efficiency, and management processes to improve all aspects of the company, making it more profitable and organized. Jackie streamlined RescueAED’s accounting practices and implemented a completely automated sales and shipping system that is user-friendly and efficient for customers to track their orders. She is now the Director of Operations at Nursing Unlimited, where she continues to oversee the day-to-day management of RescueAED and mentors her team to reach their full potential. Her outstanding work ethic and determination to help those around her succeed are highly respected and loved by everyone she comes into contact with.
